Replacement toner at about $29 per cartridge is cheap compared to other laser printers.
We owned this printer since December, when it was first on sale.
It is convenient to print from laptops anywhere on our Wifi network.
We printed about 100 pages so far, and is perfect for occasional use.
The 2-sided printing saves paper, and the printer was easy to set up by plugging the Ethernet port in the router.
After plugging into your network, use your computer or laptop to install the Samsung drivers (located under the Manuals & Downloads section, choose Mac, Windows, or Linux download).
Some reviewers had issues using the Wifi settings, which could be an issue when putting this printer away from a router or switch.
However if you can plug it into your network with an Ethernet cable, you can then print from any device on your network including from Wifi devices (laptops, tablets, etc).

They are also selling a AOC 27-inch Computer Monitor for $170.
Has HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs.
According to AOC, the LED panel has a 1-year warranty and the rest of the monitor (material and workmanship) has a 3-year warranty.
Other stores sell this monitor for about $178 and $200.
The availability of cheap third-party replacement cartridges is one of our favorite "features" of Samsung printers.
Search Ebay for C410W Toner and M2830DW Toner to find replacement ink cartridges at about $20 to $30 for black toner, and $15 to $30 per color cartridge (for the color laser printer).
Overall, the Samsung laser printers have good features, print decent quality, and have a low long-term cost when using third-party toner cartridges.
We have used a Samsung CLP-300 Color Laser Printer for about 5 years and a Samsung M2830DW Laser Printer for 6 months, and happy with our purchases.
Cheap third-party replacement cartridges is one big advantage Samsung printers have over other brands.
Search Ebay for C410W Toner and M2830DW Toner to find replacement ink cartridges for about $15 to $30 per cartridge color.
- Brother HL-5450DN Duplex, Networked Laser Printer $100
Brother HL-5450DN Duplex Laser Printer for $100 with free shipping.
Normally sells for at least $135.
It has built-in Ethernet networking, so any computer or wireless device on your network can print to this printer.
It does not have built-in Wifi, so you must attach an Ethernet cable to your router or switch.
Its reviews on Amazon are very positive, but there are some so-so reviews on Newegg.
There are way more positive reviews than negative, and at $35 less than every other store, this looks like a great deal.
One reviewer says it includes a full toner cartridge capable of printing a few thousand pages, unlike most printers.
Also, replacement toner cartridges cost around $15-25 each, and can print at least 5,000 pages.
Drivers, manuals, and more details are available on Brother.com.
One thing to remember about all laser printers.
Their power utilization fluctuates dramatically when going from idle to print, and can damage nearby electronics.
If you have a cheap $10 surge protector or just a wall outlet, plugging your laser printer and your computers on the same circuit can damage your equipment.
If you have a UPS or Line Conditioner, plug your laser printer into the "surge only" or "printer" outlet.
Laser printers are fairly resilient to power fluctuations, but computers and hard drives are not.
- Brother Wifi Laser Printer for $80
Brother HL-L2360DW Laser Printer with Duplex (2-sided printing) and built-in networking with Wifi (ethernet and Wifi b/g/n) for $80 with free shipping.
It normally sells for over $100.
This, like most new printers, includes a "starter" toner cartridge capable of printing only about 700 pages.
There are a lot of third-party toner cartridge makers on Ebay that give over 2,000 pages per cartridge for about $10 to $15 each.
These are very reasonable prices, combined with the $80 price for the printer itself, making this a hot deal.
Manuals, drivers, and specifications are available on Brother.com.
