The UPS can protect a computer & monitor from power surges and outages. If a power outage lasts longer than a half hour, its included software & cable can tell the computer to shut itself down gracefully to avoid data loss. The game was made by the creators of Far Cry - very similar but not as groundbreaking as Far Cry was when it came out, but Crysis has excellent reviews, and is well worth playing especially for $20. Here is a downloadable demo. A powerful graphics card is recommended to play this game.

Crysis is not the sequel to Far Cry. Far Cry 2 is slated for release this Fall.

Lots of HD-DVD movies are on clearance at many stores for $10 to $15 each, such as DeepDiscount.com (scroll down on DeepDiscount's page to find lots of $10 and $12 HD-DVDs).

If you were already looking to spend $50 or $70 for an up-convert DVD player for your regular DVDs, might want to consider getting this HD-DVD player for $80 which can do up-convert, and get a couple HD-DVD titles with it. However, keep in mind HD-DVD is a dead format and few HD-DVD titles will be released in the future. When Blu-Ray players and movies come down in price, the resale value of HD-DVD players and movies will be very poor.
