The Plasma technology can do a higher refresh rate for a smoother picture and with more vibrant colors and deeper blacks than LCD.
Plasma has some drawbacks though, such as more energy consumption and a lot of glare.

- Samsung 840-EVO-Series 250GB SSD for $175, tonight
Samsung 840-EVO-Series (model MZ-7TE250BW) 250GB TLC Solid State Drive.
This is a new "TLC" kind of SSD, similar to MLC (what most SSDs are).
TLC is Three Layer Cell, as opposed to MLC which is Multi-Layer Cell.
Some say TLC has a higher overall lifespan than MLC, but the technology is very new.
The reviews are very good.
Newegg is selling this for $175 when added to the cart with coupon code EMCWXXW243 starting tonight at 8pm PDT (11pm Eastern, 10pm Central, 9pm Mountain Time).
The deal will expire 4 hours later.
It will only work during those hours, so if you try before that time, you will get an error that the coupon is not valid.
