Verizon Fios is offering $80 per month for gigabit Internet in select locations. Verizon Vios is available in lots of residential areas on the east coast in Delaware, DC, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia.

Deals available:
  • $69.99/mo for Gigabit Internet with your own Fios compatible router
  • $79.99/mo for Gigabit Internet after their $10/mo router rental fee
They sell the router for $150, or some people are selling theirs for about $100 on Ebay. However, the $10/mo covers free router replacement and support, a good deal if you don't want to deal with the hassle.

Gigabit speeds are 10 to 100 times faster than regular cable and DSL Internet, which means emails, video chat, movies, TV shows, and photos upload and download quicker and more reliably.
