| Details: | 80 hand warmers for $18 (repost) A box of 40 pairs (80-packets) of disposable hand warmers. The packs come in pairs but can be used one at a time. Once the outer bag is opened and the a warmer is exposed to oxygen, it begins to generate heat within a half hour for a duration of about 7 hours. They are designed for use in gloves and pockets. They can generate a lot of heat, so they should not be pressed directly against sensitive areas of the body for more than a couple minutes. So only use on a forehead, face, wrist, and neck for no more than a minute, otherwise it could burn your skin. Walmart's price of $16 plus $2 shipping comes out to $0.23 per hand warmer. They have pretty good reviews. Retail stores sell these packets of a pair of hand warmers for about $3 ($1.50 per warmer). The manufacturer sells 20 pairs (half the number in this Walmart deal) for $18 plus shipping. |
