I bought this for my daughter a couple years ago when she bought her house, she is a single mom and does the handy work around the house herself. She was changing an outdoor light when she felt the ladder start to lean, at that point the leg literally snapped off, which sent her to the ground. While she was not seriously injured it could have been much worse. I can not find a customer support number or email do I am using this review to contact you, please respond.

I find this ladder difficult to open and close. I have to tap the blue handles on the top very hard with my hands at the same time to open the ladder, and when trying to close it, I do the same thing, but it swings so hard back at me. I cannot seem to do this smoothly. Recently while sliding it down I could not do one locking lever at a time so the ladder came sliding down on my toe, which feels like it's broken. I just don't find this to be easy to operate or safe to use. I am worried my finger will get clipped closing it one of these days. If I am doing something wrong, is there a demonstration video available? I got this ladder because it was a 1/3 of the price of the Little Giant and it's great that it transports easily and fits in my trunk, but I feel like I will lose a finger or break another toe with it.

I have owned this ladder for about 10 years and and it has performed flawlessly. Love the adjustable feature that allows me to use safely on stairs. I recently needed to contact customer service and was over joyed with the response from Werner. Prompt replies to my emails and competent, professional communications. My next ladder will be a Werner!

I bought this ladder a couple of months back from Home Depot, I never used it. It is too heavy to maneuver, actually I hurt my shoulder by moving from one place to another (not very for, within garage). When I bought it I thought I can use it as 2 ladder, a small one and a big one. Then when I red the instruction, it cannot be used as two different ladder. I should have red the reviews in Amazon; Maybe if you want for heavy duty work it is useful. But not very useful and practical for frequent use
