Customers like the graphics of the game. They mention that the maps look unreal, the aesthetically pleasing themes make them feel like they're there, and the game is the most photo realistic imagining of the original trilogy they've seen in a while. They also say the maps are incredibly detailed and huge. Customers are also impressed with the soundtrack and special effects, saying they'd be right on.

Customers are mixed about the quality of the video game. Some mention that the maps are a little better, the gameplay is just as spectacular, and it is fun when used for that purpose. However, others say that the stock game is rather paltry, the rockets and other perks do make this game kind of cheesy, and the fun slowly wears off after realizing that this game is just a bare bones.
"...the logical extension of those games and it does a great job staying true to the original trilogy without trying to introduce new elements or work..." Read more

Customers are mixed about the value of the game. Some mention that the dogfights alone are worth the price, while others say that it's not worth $60 and they expected more. The lack of maps and the lack of content, such as a multiplayer mode, restricts the value a bit. Some customers also say that the game is a waste of money and a lifeless shooter in a Star Wars skin.
"...The spaceship dogfights alone are worth the price of this game...." Read more
"...I'm OK with that. Producing a game of this size is incredibly expensive and the $60 price tag we've seen for years isn't going to get it all..." Read more

This game is masterful because it is the culmination of what the original trilogy promised to this 42 year old when he first saw the movies in theaters back when he was 4, 7 and then 9 years old. I walked out of those theaters wishing I could join the fight and live in the Star Wars world. I've played virtually every Star Wars game over the decades and this one is by far the best Star Wars experience I've ever had. It's difficult to compare but I would even go so far as to say it's better than the original trilogy of movies. It engages me more, it's obviously more interactive and it even let's me jump from the empire to the rebels and back again.
I would take a fresh game experience like this any day over some skinned remake of a best selling title that everyone is familiar with. I suspect most gamers complaining are just bitter because they're not getting there hi kill rate they're used to from those other cookie-cutter games they just want re-skinned. I'd rather have EA try something new and even fail before they just re-skin an olde title that many like. Games are not just about new updated looks. They are an art form that are about originality and surprise and cooperation with others in multiplayer.
I haven't tried any co-op yet and have only played the single player training missions for a few minutes just to try them out. I'm assuming the single player game isn't as good as the multiplayer experience but then again, I haven't played a single player game that beat the multiplayer experience in several years. It's where games are heading because it's where everyone is heading. My only wish is that some of the strategy and mechanics of this game can be built upon and included in massively multiplayer online Start Wars games in the future so that we can have battles of 1000 vs. 1000 players at once all in this universe. Someday when the technology catches up to the imagination, we will have something like that.
Thank you.
Update 12/10/15:
So about a month into the game I am still super happy with this purchase. The new Battle of Jakku DLC is pretty amazing! The map has such intricate details and makes you feel like you're really in a massive war! Also the new "Turning Point" mode is great and makes for some pretty intense fighting, especially as the Empire is pushed further and further back. With the announcement from EA that more DLC will be released for free in addition to the Season Pass I am hopeful that we will see a lot more fun content. One complaint I have after playing for awhile is it seems that the AT-ATs are not strong enough, especially the single walker on Endor. Even if the rebels just show up they typically win Endor... A well placed Orbital Strike can also almost take out an AT-AT by itself. Others might have a different opinion on the matter, but I feel like the Empire was nerfed a little too much after the Beta. I also agree with those who feel there is not enough depth in unlock able content. With only 11 blasters you unlock them all pretty quick and there is no upgrading to them at all, hopefully we will see more depth as time passes. I like that it is simple, but after awhile it feels too simple. I will keep updating this review as more content comes out, but so far it holds to the four star rating I originally gave it.

100% recomendable.
