Note that some buyers of Razer mice noticed spyware-like data collection after installing the Razer driver software. Razer has responded to these claims. We own one Razer mouse, and chose not to install their driver software on a PC. It is almost fully functional as a mouse using the default Windows drivers, without the features driven by the Razer software: key bindings, macros, and RGB-light customizing on the mouse.
