Details: | Foxconn Barebone Mini PC for $60 Foxconn RM3-H2 Barebone Mini PC for $60. Mostly good reviews. This is a Mini PC, which is just a tiny case, power supply, and micro motherboard with built-in DVI & HDMI video output plus Realtek audio. Does not include CPU, memory, and drives. Add a LGA-1155 CPU, memory, and hard drive or SSD, and you have a complete system that is small enough to hide behind a TV or monitor and has plenty of USB ports for adding devices like wifi and bluetooth dongles. Also has gigabit ethernet for wired networking, and a eSATA port for external storage, and a 5.25" drive bay for a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive. If you buy a cheap CPU with 8GB memory and throw in an old 3.5" hard drive you may have from an old computer, and hook this up to a TV or spare monitor, find a spare keyboard & mouse and an old Windows disc (or download free Linux), you can wind up with a nice little workstation or home theater PC for about $135. |
