It can be configured with Google Voice, which is currently free for calls within the US and Canada. It apparently will not work with Skype. Beware, if you use a free online telephone service like Google Voice, you will not have access to 911, so you should keep a secondary phone for emergencies (such as a cell phone). Also, Google Voice is free today, but they could begin charging for the service sometime. Despite these potential drawbacks, the reviews are great. |
